Front cover recipe shared here: Sweet N Spicy Chicken and Broccoli Stir-Fry 3 cups broccoli florets 1 cup thinly sliced carrots 1 tablespoon canola oil 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut in long strips 2 green onions, sliced diagonally 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced 2 teaspoons sliced fresh gingerroot 1 tablespoon each: soy sauce, white sugar, hoisin and chili garlic sauce 1/2 teaspoon Chinese Five Spice Powder Pinch crushed red pepper flakes and black pepper 1/4 cup chicken broth Steam broccoli and carrots for 5 minutes or until just tender; set aside. Heat a non-stick skillet or wok on medium. Add oil, chicken, green onion, garlic, and gingerroot; stir-fry for 5 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.
